Spring is finally here and I could not be happier. It’s really no joke how quickly the mood of everyone around me, including myself, changes once the sun stays out longer and the temperatures rises. I’d like to have this feeling all year round, please.
I’ve been opening myself up to new personal challenges lately, and one of those is trying white jeans. Living on the edge here. In all seriousness, white jeans have never felt like something I could pull off. I didn’t think my pale complexion would look as flattering as someone with a sun-kissed glow.
But today I’m here to tell you that I’ve let that feeling go and have found a great pair of white jeans under $50. And what’s more; they’re in a fit I never wear. Ladies and gents, I, Avery Walts, have purchased not only a pair of white jeans, but a pair of white high waisted jeans. High waisted is another style I’m not confident in, but this pair from Old Navy is giving me life.
So in honor of my newfound love, I’ve rounded up the best white jeans under $75.
The Best White Jeans Under $75
Everlane White Jeans
The ‘it’ brand of 2018 was and is Everlane. I haven’t purchased anything from this sustainable clothing brand yet, but the first purchase just might be a pair of their white jeans. The material looks luxe and comes in a variety of styles from cropped to mid-rise skinny. The Everlane Straight Leg Crop in particular caught my eye when I saw them on a girl in Madewell the other. They looked like the perfect mix of relaxed and structured.
ASOS White Jeans
My boo ASOS isn’t skimping on the white jean selection this spring. They’ve got a ton of styles, sizes, and prices in stock to complete your favorite monochrome outfit. This pair of High Waist Slim Mom Jeans and Wide Leg Culotte Jeans caught my eye the most. They’re definitely dupes for the previous Everlane jeans I mentioned, and their infamous wide leg crop (which I also have my eye on).
The Best White Jeans Under $50
As I said, the jeans I picked up are from Old Navy in their Hi-Rise Power Straight fit. I have another pair of the same fit in a light wash blue jean with a similar frayed edge. These jeans fit beautifully. They’ve got enough stretch in them without losing their shape, which I’ve found to be the opposite result with Old Navy jeans in the past. They hold me in in all the right places and are thick enough to prevent any unwanted underwear flashes.
Of course my girl Target has a great white denim selection for spring. I haven’t tried any on, but these High-Rise Destructed Stain Repel Jeggings look like a great pair for any occasion. Especially if they’re stain repellent for a sometimes messy eater like me.
Banana Republic is a classic brand for any woman’s wardrobe and these Sculpt Skinny Jeans are just as classic. Trendy fits will come and go, but a good pair of skinny jeans will always be a staple. Pair these with a denim shirt and brown sandals and you’re ready for the day.
